Ah, the joys of unpacking....

Today my MIL came over to help me get motivated with the unpacking. Well, we decided to help motivate each other, actually. I plan to go help her clean out some rooms next week in return. We got about 9 boxes unpacked, which is a BIG deal around here! We still have so much stuff under the carport that needs to be sorted through. Whose idea was it anyway to move from a 2100 sq. ft. house into a 1000 sq. ft. house????? We have this teeny tiny attic access, that you have to climb through the boys' closet to get to. Most of my large totes won't fit in the space , so they have been living outside since we got here. They haven't complained much :-) but I am worried about my old yearbooks, etc. being in the heat and humidity. Not to mention all the "ordnance accessories" we confiscated from the USMC. Just kidding, sort of.
Anyway, sufficient progress was made in the kitchen. Enough that we finally had our first meal in the kitchen, at the table! More to do tomorrow!
