Compassion Bloggers

Have you ever heard of Compassion International's "Sponsor a Child" program?   They have the most heart-wrenching commercials, begging you to give just a few dollars a month to help save the life of a child in Africa, or some other seemingly far-away place.  To help bring the message home, Compassion started sending bloggers on an actual trip to see the conditions of these places up-close-and-personal.   A while back, I read BooMama's blog while she went on a Compassion trip.  It was heart-breaking.    This year, MckMama has been blogging about her trip to Kenya.  It's definitely worth the read!    There are also several other blogger's to check out on Compassion's homepage.     (Have a box of tissue handy!)
