Hey y'all! I am writing to you from a Mazzio's restaurant that has free wi-fi. Ha. Internet doesn't get hooked up until Friday! We are going nuts without it!
This morning we went to Hillcrest Baptist Church which we visted a few weeks ago. The people have been super friendly, and it has the only nursery Caedmon doesn't cry in! :-)
Dan's schedule is so crazy, but this morning, he left work at 10:15am and had to be back by 1:00pm. JUST enough time for the service which starts at 10:50am. We were so excited that Daddy got to go with us! I have been going without him to visit places, ugh! Not fun. I usually don't make it through the service becasue they come get me for Caedmon, who is screaming his head off. Today was great, though!
Then, this afternoon, we went to a laundromat to do the clothes. We left our washer and dryer in NC, and have been using the family's while we were there. So, we loaded up the tiny car with two kids, two adults and two laundry baskets. Don't ask how, but everyone was legally buckled! Then our new adventure called, "Washeteria" began. Trying to keep two small kids occupied for an hour and a half in a VERY boring environment is so much fun!!! The gas station attendant next door felt so sorry for me when I didn't have enough change, he gave me free drinks. Haha. So, anyway, we muddled through and got all our clothes clean.
Now if we could just get all those boxes unpacked!!! Oh yeah, many thanks to Teresa Brines and Eugene and Scott for helping pack - nothing was broken in all the moving around! .....Not even the box clearly marked "FRAGILE, BLUE CHINA" that Dan set a huge, heavy column on.......
HA, love ya, Dan.
Talk to y'all later,
Jana
