SINNER. Saved by GRACE. Living out life as a Mom, Wife, Daughter, Sister, and Friend. I love Jesus, my husband, my children, books, homeschooling and large quantities of coffee.
It stands to reason around here that things do not always go as planned, or even as hoped. It seems to be our family motto, or mission statement, or something.... Anyway, we are undergoing some changes around our household once again. Hubby has returned to working for the company he left over a year ago start our construction business. BUT, he is still doing the construction also! We are just scaling back on the size of jobs we take on. Instead of full-house remodels or building from the ground up, right now we're focusing on short easy jobs he can do by himself in a day or two. Winters are always hard on construction jobs anyway, the weather affects so much of what you can do. In the meantime, he is back to working the 5-on, 3-off schedule that drives us crazy stretches us immensely.
Hm, what else has been going on... Yesterday morning, the workers showed up to re-do our water line that keeps flooding our bathroom. Of course, yesterday's temps were in the low 20's dropping into the teens overnight! What a day to be outside digging in our yard, huh? Freezing cold weather without the benefit of snow is just, well, cold. They are also tearing out and rebuilding our bathroom shower. It was a hideous, gross thing that I could hardly stand to use. but that's not why they are tearing it out, the wall was actually starting to crumble and it wasn't water-tight anymore. I'll show you pictures once we get an "after" to show. Last night, in the freezing cold, they hit the water line and busted it, so we had to go without water. Thankfully, we went to a friend's house nearby and used their bathrooms for a while. Unfortunately Fortunately, they got it working again this morning, so my laundry break is now over, ha.

LOL well you could have come over here for water last night... but we didn't have heat for awhile.
Life can be a real juggling act.
Boy oh boy..
Once I thought my neighbor's waterline was a stubborn tree root. That didn't bode well for said neighbor's morning shower.
Oops.
If you rent this place long enough, you'll have a brand-new house to inhabit!
