Fundraising...

So, we are entering a realm I haven't been in since high school band days.  Fundraising.   Dreaded memories of knocking on doors throughout my neighborhood and selling over-priced fruit, waxy cheeses and tacky wrapping paper keep coming up.  Thankfully, this isn't nearly that painful.  But, in some ways it's harder!  Now, we're adults and "self" sufficient and need to ask people to please support us and this great cause we're sold out to.    Which they may, or may not, also think is a great cause.   Who knows, maybe they think we just want to take their money and go live worry-free in the Caribbean?  :-)
We had a successful evening at Chick-Fil-A, with some great friends and even church members from my mother-in-law's church showing up to support us.  And now, we are brainstorming more ways to raise the necessary funds we'll need to get down to Belize.  Soon, I'd like to post an itemized list of our needs.  While we would like to just "George Mueller" everything and give it all to God in prayer, lately we've had more and more people asking for specifics about our monetary needs.   Will you continue to cover us in prayer as we work towards our goals?  Thank you!!
