Whew, after a pretty decent night's sleep, we started out again! We went to the world's greasiest Waffle House for breakfast. If you ever get a chance to eat at the Waffle House in Montgomery, AL - pass on that. Ha. Daddy laughed because I cringed every time Little Man touched the high chair. So, after that scrumptious meal, we loaded the car back up and took off again. This time the weather had moved on and we were driving in sunny conditions.
We waved at all the Alabama attractions as we passed for ya, Scott & Tracy! Pretty soon we had made it through Mississippi, Louisiana, and into TEXAS. Dan's hometown is only about 15 minutes into the Texas border, so Louisiana is really our countdown point. We were so glad to be stopping! We pulled into his aunt's home at about 7pm TX time!
Bedtime didn't come soon enough for us! We saw all the family and introduced Little Man, then off to bed!
