Not Another Manic Monday

Howdy howdy. Mondays used to be a good day for me. I was able to slowly get back into our routine b/c the weekend rush was over. Not so anymore. With Daddy's schedule being so different all the time, our days "off" are different too. Today, we are supposed to go get our new Texas driver's licenses and tags for the car. (Sniff, sniff.) As soon as we get all that done, we have to start getting all the yardsale things together and tagged.

We are having a yardsale on Wednesday morning. Yep, Wednesday. So many people work at the refineries and plants around here that shifts and schedules are very unpredictable. If you don't have the normal weekends off, when do you get to go run errands, etc? That's right, during the week. So, yardsales that were once reserved for Saturdays only, have made a big hit on Wednesdays as well. My main reason? Dan just happens to have Wed. off this week!

Plans are in the works for our trip back to NC in a couple of weeks. We are leaving the 2nd, driving all night and hitting NC Sunday morning. Pray, pray, pray that it works out that way!! We have so many things to do in so little time! Biggest priority is getting yet another Penske and loading it up with the items left in my Dad's house. Next is seeing all our friends and family! We have to leave on the 7th, so it is going to be a short and sweet trip. My view all the way back to TX will the back of a moving truck again. :-)
