Logging In...

Hello, all. We are still alive and breathing here in the humid, southeast corner of Texas. Things have gone a bit hay-wire around our house the past few days! Hubby's Jeep has suddenly required quite a bit of work and several thousand trips to Advanced Auto. All the Jeeps I've ever known have been mechanical nightmares after a few years. They are a lot of fun to drive and play around off-road in, but once you've done that, they seem to fall apart right in the driveway. Jeep owners, you are safer just driving to the grocery store and back!! Do not look longingly at the wide-open fields, or the muddy river beds! Do not expect your 4-Wheel drive vehicle to maintain it's current state of coolness after more than 5 years! So, needless to say, Hubby's days off have been filled with: work on Jeep, work on Jeep, work on Jeep.... you get my point.

All that, on top of empty pockets and wallets, has been a bit overwhelming!! Hopefully I will have some funny and enlightening posts soon!
