Well, Hurricane Gustav is becoming quite a little pain in the "badonkadonk." We are leaving as soon as possible tomorrow.... It is already a Category 4 on its way to becoming a Category 5, with the warm hurricane-enhancing Gulf waters still ahead!
We are renting this house and our ever-diligent landlord isn't even answering his phone..... (Jesus, help me bite my tongue.) So, we bought wood to board our windows and he will be getting the bill as soon as we can track him down! Not to mention the rent check is just going to have to stay in my purse until we come BACK to the area.
We had Grandma Lynd's funeral this morning, which went very well. Then we rushed to her nursing home to pick up a dresser that was being given to us. They have buses lined up to evacuate the residents this afternoon.
Well, I have a lot of packing to do, and not enough time left to do it! PLEASE pray for us as we travel, and pray for my sanity as my O.C.D. kicks into hyper-drive! Or maybe pray for my husband as the O.C.D. kicks in!
