THE END

Ha, ok, so we have been home two weeks now and I haven't finished posting about our vacation. Sigh. Well, for those care to know how it ended, here we go!

We spent Friday and Saturday at the coolest lodge ever! Great Wolf Lodge is an awesome family resort and we couldn't pass up spending at least one night there! Apparently, they have them all over the US, we had never heard of them before. But it was wonderful!! They have a giant waterpark, which is included in your stay, an arcade, two restaurants and a Pizza Express. A huge gift shop, "bed time stories" for the kids, and a Cub Club where our kids enjoyed making crafts and playing with toys while they weren't in the waterpark. It was phenomenal! We stayed in a "Wolf Den" room, where the boys had bunk beds in a little den-like nook of the room. They were so excited. If you have the chance to go to one, DO IT!

I took Little Man and Baby Girl to my aunt Connie's for a brief visit, and then we went back to Gma's to start packing up. That's when I shifted into super-list-making-mode while I wrote down and checked off every single item we had brought with us/and or needed to bring home! We were pretty much packed by the time we left that night for my cousin Jamie's wedding.

We enjoyed visiting with our cousins for a few hours, and then going back to Gma's to make s'mores on the grill, haha. The boys were completely exhausted when we finally tucked them into bed! We left early the nexzt morning and drove out to Wilmington to see my childhood/school friend Mollie! Our kids got to play with hers at a park while we caught up on the past oh, 15 years?! It was so much fun!

Sigh, then it was back to Texas! We drove all the way to Montgomery, AL that night, which was a pretty big feat for our worn out kiddos. The next day we were all melting down as we counted the miles left to get home. We usually have 100 mile fever when we hit Louisiana, and everyone realizes how close we are to being home. We pulled into our driveway at 4pm that afternoon, plenty of daylight and humidity left to go play outside! Haha.

It was an incredible vacation!!!!! Hopefully our children will remember it when they are older!
