Having had 4 babies in 4 different hospitals, I can tell you this is not far from the truth! Thank goodness I've never had to be rushed into c-section or anything, but the pitocin drip is always ready and waiting as we enter the delivery floor! That's exactly why we're doing it differently this time. Loving the experience of having a midwife and planning a homebirth!
