Happy Birthday, Zeb!

Our sweet little Zebulon turns 2 today!   I remember his birthday well.   He was our first homebirth, and it went great.  He is such a funny little guy.  His name means means "exalted, or honored" and the biblical blessing Jacob and Leah's Zebulun received was this:

Genesis 49:13

“Zebulun shall dwell at the shore of the sea; he shall become a haven for ships, and his border shall be at Sidon.

We say that Zeb has the strong, silent type personality.  He is a very easy-going boy unless he is really upset about something.  He shares easily and loves to give hugs and kisses.  He forgives and apologizes quickly, and doesn't seem to hold any hard feelings...which is a good thing when you are the baby of 4 and find yourself getting the short end of the stick often, lol. 

When he is excited about something, he seems to throw himself into it 100%. Like a lot of little boys go through, he is in a "choo-choo" phase right now.  Today, his Nana gave him a train calendar while we were at Chick-Fil-A, and he was adamant that he wanted to bring it into the play area.  We laughed at how determined he was and finally let him bring it in there.  He walked around, tapping every child in there and showing them his new train calendar! When he couldn't find anyone to share in his enthusiasm, he laid down on the floor and looked at the pictures by himself.  It was the funniest and cutest thing I've ever seen.
