"No title"
Hey people. I am still breathing, however labored it may be. My belly is a-growing, and I am not sleeping at ALL. PLus, it's soooo HOT!! Daddy was finally able to fix the Jeep, with help from some angels in a very clever disguise. I won't go into detail, but let's just say they were all carrying a fermented beverage, ha. BUT, IT'S FINALLY FIXED!!! I am at the library, our new home-away-from-home, once again. The toddler knows his way from the computer area to the toys by heart now. Once we finally have internet up and running at home again, I will return to my informative and unique blogging style, ha. More later!

Pictures!
Look at this!! I have pictures to post! I haven't had pictures in months, due to Little Man breaking the digital camera again.... My cheap and less-than-high-tech way around it? We bought a disposable camera and ordered the index CD when we had it developed. Ha!
But, hey, now you get to see some adorable Great Pyrenees puppies! And my silly kiddos up to their ears in MUD. These are from our trip to visit Kevin and Ally the other week.

It rained on Sunday morning, leaving giant mud puddles all around their house. The boys took great pleasure in getting completely covered in mud before we left to go home....

Great Article!
I saw this article on helping out in a crisis situation. Awesome ideas on how to help people afer a death in the family, a surgery, hospital stay, etc. For all you guys that have been asking, "Can we do anything?" and I haven't had an answer! Love ya!
One tired Mommy + Two cranky children= ROAD TRIP!!!
Ok, well, at least in our family it does! Most people try to steer away from exhausting adventures when the kids are out of their element, or the parents are mentally exhausted themselves.
Not I. "Suck it up kids, we're going on a Road Trip."
Well, okay, I didn't quite put it that way. I didn't even tell them, to be honest. We basically just loaded the car and left before I said how long they would actually need to sit in those car seats.
So! The trip to Raleigh to see my cousins went very well. We have become quite efficient at catching up on all the family news in just a few hours! The boys and I enjoyed seeing Christy and Michael, and then seeing Brandon and Mandy and their boys on Sunday.
Sunday afternoon, we left and headed on up the interstate for Lenoir, where my aunt lives. It was a pretty drive and we had fun along the way. The boys and I are getting a little routine down when we are in the car together. Xman has even become a little helper for me. I still don't want to travel all the way back to Texas by myself, though! I am so glad Hubby is coming back to help us drive home. Plus, we miss Daddy!!!!
While in Lenoir, we went to an arcade and let the kids run wild. For some reason I had a lapse in judgement and let Xman get a sword with his prize tickets..... I think I blacked out momentarily. Anyway, we came home with sugar and a sword. Lethal combo in my world. No injuries ensued, however, there was gonna be one if Mommy got swatted at one more time with that thing!! (Read between the lines, folks.)
After leaving the arcade, we ate lunch and headed "up the mountain" to Blowing Rock. There are some adorable little shops and a park where the kids got to play. If you have ever heard of the novels by Jan Karon about "Mitford," she lives in/around Blowing Rock. You can easily see where the fictional Mitford came to life by visiting Blowing Rock, NC.
All of that was on Monday, and on Tuesday, we headed back to Charlotte. Doing a total of 505 miles in the Road Warrior, which I am sure it can handle! This car is like the Energizer Bunny, it just keeps going. (Sigh..... )
We leave for Texas in just a couple more days! See ya soon!
Oh, yeah! The little Monkey hit my camera and sent it toppling to the ground, where it breathed its last breath. So, unless I can get it repaired, I won't have any pictures for a while! Sorry!

Baby Showers and Weddings
Ah, tis June. The month for new life and new lives together! It seems like everyone we know is having a baby, or getting married. I took the boys to a baby shower for long-time family friend Rebecca. She and hubby, Dustin, are expecting a little boy very soon now! Congrats Creagers!
Here is Rebecca with my squirmy boys.

And then we had our friend, Mandi Nugent's, wedding. Dan was an usher and helped light their candles. Congratulations to the new Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Thibodeaux!

Yardsale!
Our yardsale went really well. We actually reopened for business on the following Saturday. All-in-all we made about $300, which was good considering our biggest items didn't sell. Dan was able to help out with the boys while his mom, sister and I made the sales!
Here is a picture of Xav climbing into a crate we were using! BOYS.
Bald-headed Daddy
So. Some of you have been commenting on how long it has been since my last entry! If you had been in my house, you would understand why. We just returned from our trip back up to NC for the rest of our STUFF. That was an adventure in itself. I will start by telling you about the days prior to our trip...
Dan decided that he would like to try out the "bald" look for the summer. I laughingly agreed, hey, it's his head, not mine! So, out came the shaving cream and razor. I promised Dan that I would publish this picture on the internet, so here it is. Love you babe!! :-)
